About

This newspaper is reader supported. We do take advertising upon request but we rely on readers like you to keep us going.

Our motto reads “quis custodiet ipsos custodes” which means who will guard the guards. We all must guard our freedom. When called upon we need to support those that we appoint to protect our interests. When necessary we must hold accountable those who we have given authority to act on our behalf.

A person once wrote,”We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature of all men as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion”. We must remain ever vigilant to protect our rights.

We are dedicated to the preservation of the First Amendment to our Constitution. To that end we will not be politically correct nor will we bend to popular, political, legal or economic pressure. Truth is truth. It is our goal to bring you truth. If we err then we will make amends and admit our mistakes even when it hurts.

We are a people newspaper. We do not seek out Journalism adherents. We speak from the heart. Anyone is free to submit an opinion or article regardless of their education or status in life.

When you submit an article for publication or a letter to be published we will usually publish the article as written. There will be no attempt to edit or delete words that are not politically correct. However there will be no tolerance of name calling or character assassination. When you ask us to publish your words and ideas we expect you to state your position and back them up with facts.

You will have entered the arena of ideas. By doing so you take your chances. Don’t expect this newspaper to support only your side. Certainly do not expect readers to support you as well.
